Basically, after Yemen put a blockade on Bab al-Mandeb, and hit a few Saudi ships, the insurers realized that it’s not safe.
Because you know, having less information is good for insurance carriers?!?
It’s more that insurance carriers do not feel comfortable giving out insurance for Saudi ships now.
