I highly recommend Mlx-audio for anyone doing tts on Apple Silicon. It offers great performance, leverages kokoro-82M, and plays well with streaming frontends like Open webui. The one shot voice cloning feature is also pretty cool.

Swap the last and first frame and that’s me.

Starting a company isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Entrepreneur hustle culture is a neoliberal trap I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I never worked harder for less money, or felt surrounded by the most disingenuous people I’ve ever met than when I worked for myself. I’ll just keep collecting a paycheck and actually enjoy my life while not “on the clock”.

I’ve been experimenting with something similar the last two months. My workflow involves self reported health data via NextCloud forms. The api feeds a sql db that’s modeled using grafana. I also have a python tool in open webui to chat over the data with gpt-oss:20b. Fun project. Happy to hear others are tinkering too.
It’s probably because tech influencers on insert your fav video scrolling app love choosing arch as their flavor of the month Linux distro

Plexamp for music streaming so I have CarPlay compatibility and Tunaar as a custom IPTV xml provider where I created an MTV like channel that plays ~200 music videos between Daria and Beavis and Butthead episode blocks through Jellyfin.
Definitely overkill for just a calendar app but the great thing about NextCloud is once you spin it up there’s probably an integration for the next 5 FOSS solutions you’re looking for, which means fewer containers to manage in Docker.
Nextcloud 🤷♂️

It’s just a skit suggesting that the lighthearted goofiness associated with modern Japanese culture is a mask to make society forget the atrocities committed during 20th century. It made me chuckle. I’m sure you can find it on any app that does shorts.

Reminds me of the “Japan, it’s time to own up for what you did” short floating around the apps.

Better get a Kiwix server spun up.

My guess is the increase is due to two factors: Linux based vms scraping PH content to create tensor training models for nsfw AI image generators and individuals in the U.S. visiting behind a vpn that’s registering to the client as a Linux device. I’d visit the link but I’m not behind a vpn.
What’s different between Mac OS and Linux besides Apple’s cloud walled garden? You can bash your way through both file systems. Windows is the outlier.
