Uhhhhh, that is highly contextual. Am I on an airplane? Do the windows open? Is it my house?

Ain’t nobody saving time here.
Is there data to support this? I imagine if a fire breaks out in an apartment and I don’t wake up in time, I’m fucked anyway. Hopefully smoke detectors in all rooms will do their job.
I don’t see a request for feedback. I see someone asking for data from a commenter, saying they were probably fucked either way, and hoping smoke detectors would help. The only request was for supporting data, and why would you trust “data” from a random commenter?
It blows my mind that people will take safety advice from a random comment, question it, and expect another random comment to clarify for them, especially in a platform as small as Lemmy. It’s so alien a thought process to me that I can’t understand it, but it makes it easier to see how misinformation spreads so easily.
Quite the scene too, expecting someone to read a little in this day and age instead of skim comments online and take it as fact.
I searched “fire safety bedroom door shut” so I don’t think they really needed any help.
Are you asking for anecdotes or information? Because it would’ve taken less time for you to search than for me to search, write a comment, and post a link. Why are you on the internet if you want other people to read for you? Good on you to attack me for your laziness.
I mean, instead of asking for information you want, you could just go look for it. Maybe clicking this link and even reading a touch won’t be too difficult? Not trying to be an ass, but it took seconds. https://www.bhg.com/sleep-with-bedroom-door-shut-11888160
I’m about to wrap up The Burroughs, and have enjoyed it. Nothing ground breaking really, but it’s fun and I appreciate the older cast and one season for a change.
Couple of episodes behind on Widow’s Bay but it is a pretty unique blend of humor, horror, and drama imo, and well worth the watch.
5070 checking in on Mint, runs fine.
I think they are putting water in the bottle in an effort to get the last of the soap out and stretch it a little further.
It works fine for me if I click on it but the embedded one is stuttering.
Oh damn, I can use green beans for my coffee? Gonna save so much money!

This is actually what I did. I never could get Samba working, so I setup Jellyfin and it’s been a breeze ever since. What an amazing piece of software! I just wanted to access my files, but having them categorized with images, cast and crew, ratings, and even recommended is just fantastic. The Xbox app works fine but it’s basically just a web wrapper, and the cursor never goes away which is mildly annoying, but it’s still a way better experience than the VLC Xbox app.
Thanks for the help!

It works (VLC on Xbox), but it’s definitely not that great.

Well that made it show up thankfully, but it’s asking me to log in. Any idea how to handle that? I don’t want it to ask at all so family members have ready access.
And then there’s your contribution.
