Disagree on eyes. Light is EM radiation, not a mechanical wave like sound. Your retina isn’t ‘touching’ anything but the vitreous.

My only concern is battery usage. Google has the advantage of OS integration, which skims location data for timeline history even when another app accesses location, which uses essentially no battery (since you would’ve been using location for that other app anyway).
But it’s awesome that a tool like this exists anyways, great work.

Real
Brand name for fexofenadine hayfever medication. If you don’t live in the US you probably know it under a different brand name.
It’s kinda mind-blowing that the same hardware from my trusty s5 (that is currently gathering dust in a drawer somewhere, rip) powered flight of a drone on Mars.

It’s against CloudFlare ToS to use CF tunnels for media streaming like this. You can risk it ig but I have important stuff like domain registrations on CloudFlare so I’m personally not willing to risk getting banned.
Transferred all my domains from nanecheap to CloudFlare and I’m saving like 1/3 of price on renewals.
That looks cool but the issue would be getting merchants to implement it

Physical cable to the nearest cell tower?

Windscribe has a Websocket tunnel option. Haven’t been on a network that’s been able to block this mode yet.

Yeah Micky D’s blocking root was enough reason for me to avoid installing it on my non-rooted phone for ages, because of the implication.
Did eventually cave though, saves me a few bucks once in a blue moon when I do go.

Yep, microsoft clarity is pretty useful, if you don’t wanna be tracked, just use an adblocker.

There’s a collection of similar extensions that worked for me to throw fingerprint.com off each time I opened an incognito window. Idk I’ve heard that having too many extensions can actually make the fingerprint problem worse. If this is a bad approach, I’m sure someone will correct me :D
Maybe not keylogging but it’s pretty fucking bad still, it tracks basically everything else about how you navigate when using the integrated browser.
Permanent Record
It’s called Permanent Record haha this dude is trolling you
His book was a super great read.

A jailbreak method called Language break was discovered relatively recently, so even if you’re on a more recent firmware version, you could jailbreak and install KOReader on it.
If it’s an older version of firmware, there are also other method of jailbreaking afaik.
Yeah this article is hot garbage. What “biometric data” are they talking about??? Just images of people’s faces? My understanding is that it’s super commonplace in public locations, are people really that surprised?
