Good to know, thanks!
Good to know, thanks!
I’m not sure about self hosted specific. There is a device called WiiM. Works with most of the major streaming services. I believe they’re also working on plexamp integration too.
There’s a thread about adding the temperature that you could try.
The reviews aren’t the best, but I did find this recently. Haven’t tried it out yet.
I’m guessing the author is getting some kind of referral to send them to that other site that hosts grafana. Because home assistant has a 3rd party app for grafana built in. Granted it would be a few more steps than they outlined, but it’s also not sending your data to some random company.
I can’t be the only one to suffer a rapid decrease in liquid capital…
To make it better they’re on sale right now!
I like your glasses!
It looks like it uses chrome for certain data, and I’m not a fan of that. Any idea if I can change that to use Firefox?
Oof, purchased by an analytics company probably means they only want it for your/my information.
I’m trying one of the Dev releases that was linked below. So far it’s pretty stable. Not sure your tolerance for any issues that may arise.
Oh sweet! Thanks for the heads up! I was hoping to find a version 14 without having to figure out how to build it myself.
I took a peek into their telegram feed and it seems they’re working on version 14.
Lawnchair hasn’t had a release since 2018. I find it to be a bit buggy and sometimes won’t redraw the home screens. This makes me need to force close the launcher from the settings. I usually clear the cache too, just to be safe.
Just tempering expectations for anyone else looking at it. If anyone knows of a fork that is more recent let me know. Maybe someone else is maintaining somewhere.
I agree, but it is definitely on the spendy side
Yes, but at the same time no.
If you’re into self hosting there’s also Baby Buddy
I do believe they implemented a basic support for existing library in 1.63.0 release currently on 1.65.0. Though someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Edit: pretty basic implementation but it’s there.
Take a look at the home assistant voice preview device.
It has a 3.5mm jack out to connect to better speakers. You should be able to integrate some aspect of audio playback.
From the FAQ
Yes, if you plug an external speaker into the 3.5mm audio port. The built-in speaker is meant for voice feedback and is not optimized for listening to music, but the included DAC is capable of playing lossless audio on a suitable external speaker. We recommend using Music Assistant to control music playback.
