Am I too old or too European or too non-native speaker to understand this?
I don’t know what a kickback is in this context. . Pull up means showing up. Doing a solid means a big favor.
It’s mostly 90s slang.
Edit: low-key means subtly
Kickback is like a chill party
I think kickback is like a small party https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=kickback
Gen Z slang.
The only Gen z term in this meme is “lowkey”.
The rest is gen x and millennial 80s/90s slang.
Maybe “kickback” being used this way is Gen z as well but the term “kick back” as in “kick back and relax” is gen x, 80s.
Low key/low-key/lowkey, has been used well before gen z in the same way. It’s definitely gotten more popular though
i used lowkey in the 90s
I’m guessing Gen z adopted “kick back” (verb) and made it “kickback” (noun) based on other comments in this thread? We would not have used it that way in the 90s.
Look how they massacred my boy…
A little cap, I think
Kids don’t say “kickback”. They call it “the function”
Ghost the gun, finesse the cannoli.

Not lowkey really, no
