That’s a sensible theory for when this happens at work (it’s Citrix in my case).
I’d swear it happens at home on Windows 10 as well, though. Maybe I am pressing it wrong sometimes. Either way, the meme is spot on for me.

No that’s not what I mean (plus it doesn’t work most of the time, either). It’s the copying that often fails for me, which I only notice when I paste and realize “wait a minute, these are the previous contents of my clipboard.”
FACT.
Does anyone here know why it’s unreliable?

You don’t know what you’re talking about. That 14,300 casualties figure you’re likely alluding to includes 6,500 Russian-sponsored separatist fighters, 4,400 Ukrainian (!) soldiers, and 3,404 civilian victims on both sides of the conflict. The three hundred people killed in the separatist shootdown of MH17 are included in the latter figure.
Both the OSCE and the International Criminal Court have investigated Russia’s claims of Ukraine’s alleged genocide in the Donbas and come to the conclusion that there is no such thing.
On the contrary, Vladimir Putin (like Benjamín Netanyahu) is being sought by the ICC as a war criminal.
If you were to stop regurgitating state propaganda and listen to actual genocide scholars, UN institutions, and the ICC you would have to admit that it looks very much like Russia has always been using these allegations of genocide against Russian people to prepare an illegal occupation of Ukraine and to mask its own genocidal activities.
That’s all the enlightenment I can provide to you and your ilk; you are now going on my block list. Have a great life.

The armed insurrection was made up of people who, among other things, used a 9K37 “Buk” surface-to-air missile launcher (conveniently on loan from Russia) to kill hundreds of people traveling overhead in a Malaysian Airlines passenger jet.
Not sure where you’re going with that Machete accusation.

Combating an armed insurrection sponsored by your powerful neighbor is not ethnic cleansing.

Is Ukraine being sanctioned by anyone? Did they start a war of aggression? Are they bombing shopping malls, abducting children, and denying Russia’s right to even exist?
Has Ukraine been terrorizing and occupying its neighbors for decades, driving them into the arms of NATO?
Fuck off with your both-sidesing.

On the off chance you are being genuine here: they ignored the sanctions on Russia by supplying them with Shahed drones. Which have been terrorizing Ukraine almost daily.
So you’re critical of European (Neo-)colonialism, as am I. That’s relieving. Returning to my original point, I really do think that wasn’t very pertinent to the ongoing discussion. Maybe we can close this particular thread here. If you feel like going further into it, maybe opening a separate thread does make more sense.
You can shove your dogwhistles right out of here. What kind of socialist are you anyway? National?
Yeesh, that smells even worse than what I originally thought. 😬
African folks love the kindness of Europeans.
… is a statement which, even if correct, contributes absolutely nothing to the current debate. Feel free to open your own thread about it.
Finally a trolley meme I can get behind.
Oh, I see. Yes, probably. As any sensible person would.
They might do spot checks when taking delivery but I doubt they have the time to check each carton.
Or did you mean at checkout before YOU buy the eggs? If so, that’s not why they open each carton. They’re checking to see if you hid something in there.
Just the other day I uninstalled Chrome & gave “Enshittification” as the reason when prompted. Not that I’d been using it since turning to Firefox a few years ago and Waterfox more recently.
Thank you for your service.

Or just use Firefox Focus

I have just set my mobile Firefox to private browsing only.
Works for me because I rarely need to log in to websites on my phone (most have apps, anyway, e.g. Lemmy).
Nah that’s not at all how that hand movement works. It’s always rest on Ctrl and then find C for me. It would also type “C” over the highlighted text, which would be very noticeable.
