I know this don’t the solution you are looking for, but your router sounds like the crappy default one you get from your ISP.
In that case (since you already got this far) consider getting a better one, if not for this, then for the next time it limits your adventures.
I would suggest looking into OpenWrt if you go this route.

If you go the film route, consider using 8mm. Even though some people thinks it’s still too experimental i find the file compression to be far superior (one third file size after transcoding my library from VHS -> 8mm film) and they barely burst into flames.
Besides who has movie nights without drinks nearby you can put on the fire?
Make sure you use mixed drinks and not hard liquor as that will not put out fire and make your insurance company really annoying.

I am not going to say no.

This was probably the best read i’ve ever gotten from spam.
The suspense, the (unhinged) world building, the (campy) plot twist. It’s like a shitty horror movie. Bravo!
Still downvoting for the spam, though.

CryptPads “selling point” is that it is e2e encrypted, meaning your documents Should™ be secure if the server hosting them is compromised, which i think is meaningful.

How the fuck did i read this?.. I guess i’m not a robot after all.

I get that.
I think you can get the same amount of storage for the same price to use for a seperate VPS from them too.

Hetzner has managed Nextcloud hosting with add-ons for ~5€/month.

I’m rooting for you! Also because i wanna do this too!
Just in case this doesn’t work out for you, but you still want to tinker; your car puts out 12v from the cigarette lighter, and that’s a common voltage for computer-style fans. You could build a cooling rig for your phone? That’s definetly not as cool a project, but if it’s the øjne that ends up happening, it would still be a fun story to tell.
Check out static site generator. I’ve specifically used Hugo which took markdown files as input/content, but there are many options.
They are also really easy to host on a git forge.
