So they ripped you off like Subway used to do with their “foot long” sandwiches? I’d be livid and demanding my extra 2%!

Maybe use ESPHome on to run the servo back and forth a few times and have an automation in Home Assistant to trigger the servo when it detects the toilet running. The hard part would probably be getting power near the toilet and connecting the servo to the handle in some fashion.
OP I think using PCPartPicker might show you tons of options for cases with 4+ drive capacity. If you want an older case just search ebay for the options you find.
You can also mount 2.5" drives into the 3.5: trays if you wanted. Ive had my R6 for years now and just bought a 2-pack of drive caddies as it filled up to the point that I now have enough to fill the whole case.
I have a Fractal Define 6 with room for (i think) 12 HDDs. They have tons of great options for HDD storage.

Especially one without a mainstream CPU that won’t have any support

The “CNC mindset” is perfect copies every time. That’s the entire purpose of CNC otherwise everyone would just hand cut parts. Stop trying to wear your years of toiling like a badge of honor that permits you to look down on others.

3d printers have been around in consumer form for close to two decades now. There’s no excuse for this any longer. The reason there’s such a learning curve with printers like this (I’ve been through it myself) is because they’re built with shitty, scrap bin parts to keep prices low. The commercial folks using CNC machines would never, ever settle for junk that fails often and needs a bunch of aftermarket parts swapped in just for basic functionality. I went years on a bed slinger like these with years of more troubleshooting than printing and I would never go back nor would I tolerate it with a new printer.

Its showing $17.97 USD for me, though I have seen prices charge drastically once you actually log in.

You should really up your game and buy some ESPs and servo motors to jiggle the toilet handles when the toilets are running.

They make these to put inside your breaker box too to monitor all your circuits.

While that may be true, it’s still their responsibility to handle this stuff if they’re keeping their payment system active.

I use PolyTerra Army Blue for all my Navy Blue needs. Technically it’s a matte filament but I honestly can’t tell.
Edit: PolyTerra (made by Polymaker) is now called “Panchroma matte” for some terrible reason

I have the same issue with a lot of my zigbee devices whether Aqara, Ikea, or others. Even a device that reads properly will stick at 100% once the battery is replaced the next time. I just wait until stuff stops working to know when to replace the battery and have a 50 pack of coin cell batteries on hand.
Watch out for overhangs on models. Every feature needs a surface to print on.
Also, probably not such a thing anymore, but give some time to get to know your printer before doing mods to it. It’s near impossible to troubleshoot issues when you dont know whether the issue is caused by a defect with a new printer or something caused by a modification.
Keep your filament stored in something whether it be ziploc bags or those fancy filament storage containers. Also get some desiccant and hygrometers so you can actually dry and measure. I have found the desiccant bags to be pretty worthless while the little colored or white balls/pellets work well and can be recharged.

This really depends on what you’re watching it on. 480p can look fine on a phone but like garbage on a 65" OLED. I find that 720p is good for most shows that aren’t visually stunning (like Foundation) while most movies look fine in 1080p on the aforementioned OLED.

The newer Dell Optiplex micro like the 5070 come with more modern hardware, HDMI and all that. I was fortunate to get a couple for free from my BIL who works in IT and was given them as E-waste.

Bambu already has this feature.

Apparently people are defensive about other people’s financial decisions too.
Yeah once I reached adulthood I definitely preferred to see the world in black and white. Color is just juvenile.
