I’ve run most non KDE distros now I just install Debian or Ubuntu depending on the computer

iOS is a walled garden, MacOS is not, I can install and run anything I want on my Mac and I’m not required to use any Apple service.

Computers didn’t make their way into cars until the late 70’s, my next car will predate that.
