Because Merriam Webster creates and produces the dictionary of the English language. They’re literally the one who decides if a word is official. Their retort is succinct.

Ha! I saw this and thought “It’s clearly white and gold, let’s check out the comments” then I read a comment saying it was objectively blue and black, so I scrolled up to take another look, and now I can no longer see the white and gold no matter how hard I try.

That’s cool, but they’re NOT the space robots. They are NOT here to protect us. They will not protect us from the terrible secret of space.
