Kinda wanted to watch that, but had stop after the unskippable car ad (lol) a few minutes in

I don’t give any PII when I create a new email address

Man just go to gmail and make an email address. I have like 30. I have addresses for spam, doing financial stuff, signing up for irl service requests (plumbing or electrician or whatever), etc etc. it takes like 5 mins to setup forwarding and filters, so you don’t miss something you care about
Wow I did not have to wonder about that for very long!
Never knew it was that Freaks and Geeks kid…
Thanks!
I wonder what the guy in this photo is up to now?

Commenting to find these presentation app reccs in case I’m ever employed and need to present something again

I’ll look into it, thanks!
Can anyone recommend a distro and/or DE for my needs?? I have three beelink mini pcs (AMD Ryzen cpus) and I have three generic chinese touchscreen monitors that are on 24/7 displaying my homeassistant dashboard. I’ve got pop_os! on one of them, mint on another, and manjaro on another. None of them do a great job of handling the touchscreen UX very well. Maybe a mobile distro would be better? Also I can’t really find a web browser (or browser configuration) that seamlessly handles swiping and gestures and such. Chromium does okay, but seems to have a memory leak, and Firefox won’t swipe/scroll without a buncha hooey like custom launch args. All three distros annoy me with update popups and forcing me to enter passwords with the onscreen keyboard too frequently.
I’m sure all of them would work better if I actually knew what I was doing, but any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
Doesn’t work because only vowels are removed. For slurp neck to work it’d need to be slrpnck. You know, with a C!
tsk.
Shoddy memeing from someone named @NickwithaC@lemmy.world

You know what? I’m leaving it.

The phrasing for the 2008 frame isn’t right. Should be “Are you too good to flip burgers?” Or “Is flipping burgers not good enough for you?”
Yeah but I said in the best case. In the best case, your randomization is correct so you don’t need to check it
I bought an expensive pair of “nice” headphones for an office job, but didn’t end up using them much. So, I put them back in their storage case and forgot about them. Two(+) years later I needed some for a flight and went to find them, only to discover that the fake shitty pleather cushion bits were peeling and shedding all over creation, despite sitting undisturbed in their case for 99% of their existence!
In short, fuck those. Fuck them. Fuck every pair of over-the-ear headphones with their shitty fucking fakeass material that degrades under the pressure of existing! I’ll never buy another pair from any brand unless they solve this problem (that I’m convinced is planned obsolescence).
