Not you?
(well, there you go, genius… you had your chance to give some feedback, and instead you just blew chunks of waffles; are you happy with yourself…?)
(“chunks of waffles?”)
(I dunno, maybe they could prove useful one day; just… move on to the next subject, okay… “OTAY?”)
(alright, alright… FINE; you win this round, mister Pantalones en Fuego, hah!)
Oh, sorry. So this one is by “MouseMage,” is it?

Alright, Jessica… you’re on to some doggone ‘image resolution,’ right there.
May I ask-- do you have a mission / purpose with these?

Okay, let me get this straight-- you saw that it was a google images link, clicked on it, then felt “tricked” that it didn’t automagically take you to some ideal destination floating around in your head?
Okay, well I’m sorry you felt that way. I usually use google images to quickly bring up samples when I don’t have something specific in mind. What search engine would you prefer, DDG or SearXNG, perhaps?
Note that I also provided the WP link, and I would think the rest is easy enough for most people to follow up on their own, given all that.
Again, I’m sorry if I sound irritable here, but my CFS/ME leaves me in a constant state of fatigue and pain, especially when I’ve been sitting for over 5min, trying to type up a post to share, with my lower back killing me with every passing minute. The problem with trying to type from my usual position (lying down in my coach/bed) is that I’m not a touch-typist, and am constantly fumbling around, making errors, and getting frustrated.
Good critique is always welcome, and I’d like to think I have a sense of humor, but yeah… I can’t say I’m really in to the whole “teasing” thing, matey. In any case, thanks for trying to make a connection, eh?

Haha, you really just said “I don’t know, google it”.
Casey, that’s really not necessary. I have some books of his, but it would take me a while to go through them and create a collection of material I thought worth sharing. Indeed, that’s already what I do for my ‘day job’ of running EGN. But Brown in this case isn’t Euro, so I simply wanted to share a good funny of his that I’d saved at some point and happened to bump in to last tonight.
Google Images isn’t specific to any one site, but I’ve found that’s it’s a modest but very good way to quickly share samples. One which always stays current to boot, as opposed to direct links.
Sorry if I sound irritable here, but when I’m doing my best to share something of quality… even taking the time to write up a little mini-introduction on top, well… I’m not a big fan of being nitpicked over this or that.
I like the ‘Escher-like’ touch of the cat’s butt and head both facing us at the same time, even though it looks like it’s not bending around whatsoever. Well done, Li Chen.

Good strip, but could it possibly be ‘boiled down’ a bit more directly upon the attempted message?
(TBC, which is a GOOD problem to have)

@Ryan North,
Can we get to the point, please?
Like… let’s just try to boil it down to whatever you’re attempting to actually say, right mate?

Note: a quick search suggests that ICE agent training at the lower tiers has been shortened to between 6-8wks.
Well, they don’t like being overstimulated. I can certainly agree with you there.
And on that note let’s cue Pinky, a “very loving cat.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ubQxtEukvw
My point is that there are areas (like around the head and along the spine) where generally they’re vastly more tolerant of taking contact, much of that likely because it’s pleasurable… even from total strangers.
Contrast that to their flanks, belly, tail, paws… all of which they tend to be more guarded around, all things being equal. Indeed, their bellies are such a key point of vulnerability (as highlighted by a typical cat fight), that they even developed the “dewlap” as a protective layer.
Also, cats don’t necessarily like to be touched on their flanks, unless they’re in the mood and/or trust you.

Thanks for your help. Checking just now, I’ve not blocked them as a user, nor their instance, nor their respective posting communities. Indeed, when I look at their direct acct, I see plenty of their recent FS posts: https://discuss.online/u/m_f
Oddly, when I look at that same acct, only formatted through my instance, their username seems… reversed? https://piefed.social/u/m_f@discuss.online
Anyway, for some reason all their SMBC comic posts seem to show up everywhere for me. It’s just the FS ones that don’t. oO
Maybe it’s some kind of handshake issue between my instance software (PieFed) and theirs (Lemmy, it looks like)

I don’t know what happened to @mrsebsin@lemmy.world, but looks like https://sh.itjust.works/c/thefarside (!thefarside@sh.itjust.works) could use someone else to mod / pick up the content stream, which seems to have ended about 3mos ago.
Too bad, because it was off to an amazing start…

Not them directly, but media that’s been bought up by right-leaning billionaires who value profit far and away over human rights. They’re easy allies, because both parties are happily willing to let the other do what it wants as long as each doesn’t get held to account by the other.

Looks like a good series in Portuguese. I just need the Google Translate process to work a little better. Or DeepL, if they ever offer image translation…
Oh… Mein… Gott.
I finally understand, now… Thank you!
(and I run a Euro-based project here, so this is triply embarrassing for me 😳)
In my deepest appreciation, I want to thank you via Louis, the kayaking cat: (who wanders a lovely wetlands area outside of Berlin)
So let me understand… they changed the color scheme and added two more stripes for this comic? (so confusing)
Oh? Okay.
I failed hard out of Meme class, so I’m pretty bad at this stuff. :/
Wow, is that a *whoosh* for me.
C’est à la fois vrai et excellent !
:D
