serious question:
what are you using your text editor for that requires all these features?

i just hot down quick notes, maybe an address, quick and bare budget, or a short list of things.

the kind of things i thought people use text editors for.

more robust documents, libre office or word.

I’m not making a joke, I’m really wondering why it matters? isn’t it just notepad or what am i missing?

Not today, but I donate when I install or reinstall. Usually just about $50. Cause I’m old and that’s what OS’s used to cost.

I’ve used it forever. 90’s or early 00’s. Started with pazuzu from i think final fantasy or similar game.

Then was thinking of ancient gods as well. Fight between Marduk and tiamat.

Just stayed with that.

Starts playing the sovereign citizen game so a trooper will break my windows.

Working good so far. Got several templates converted over and learning some of the differences between the two apps.

Pain point found with no good solution. LibreOffice Draw, in a table, in a cell: i can set tab stops but cannot tab to them.

Cntrl+tab doesn’t work either. AI search says build table in Writer where it does work then copy/paste table into Draw. Seems like a horrible work around.

Other than that, really happy with Draw.
