Who is working here? Creators who do well are compensated - I’ve seen a number quit their jobs to become full time Youtubers, they are more than likely making more money.

I watch it all the time. There are a lot of really interesting niche channels run by enthusiasts who care about the content. I like how ordinary people can have a chance to build a following without having had to be green lit by suits in a boardroom first. Plenty of garbage too, but still plenty worth watching.
