I’m not sure how a self hosted alternative to steam would work… The entire appeal is kinda that its not self hosted.
Well… I didnt grow up with Fahrenheit and don’t use it but it makes sense to me 🤷♂️
Also having a nice scale from 0 to 100 as “really fucking cold” and “really fucking hot” is arguably easier to understand.
Not really the point of the image
can you people please use incognito. WHY do people not use incognito. like this is SUCH a non-issue.

Sigh.
Zen is my main browser and Helium is my main chromium-based browser. I love both very much 🥰💋💯
What were the changes that drove you away? I’ve been using Zen from the start and I can’t think of that many changes that you wouldn’t just be able to ignore/disable.

Terrifying.
I mean, even if this was true and common, I dont really have an unsecured network anywhere close to my home and I imagine the same goes for most, like MOST other people as well. Thats while living in a city too, suburbs are probably even “better”.
Why not kubuntu or… Debian??
SpaceX was also founded and largely owned by Elon Musk.
Yeah. Why not make the old people of today work to fix the mess they created? Oh wait, old people rule the world. They will just favor themselves and the rest isnt their problem. Like they have always done.

This news has been around for months yet I still cannot understand why they are doing this. They can’t actually be thinking that anybody would want to go to tenor.com and look at gifs right???
No? If anything, the frequent typing of text on phone keyboards in online interactions has created even more intricacies to language; as now we are used to not only using the proper methods of capitalisation and punctuation marks to convey meaning, but also to intentionally leaving them out or distorting them to convey more meaning or emotion. Phone keyboards can auto correct, auto capitalise and add punctuation to sentences for you. People go out of their way to disable those and intentionally type “incorrect” sentences because “On my way!” vs “on my way”/“omw” just don’t feel the same.
Also, not bothering to type “proper” sentences while texting your friends on a phone keyboard doesnt mean you start to just forget that sentences begin with a capitalised letter and end with a dot lol. Furthermore English is just a stupid language with stupid spelling and pronunciation rules. The concept of the spelling bee was really shocking to me when I first heard about it as a non-native speaker becuase most other languages just… are easier with spelling.
edit: some people really are just basically illiterate though (see what I did there? no capitalisation.)
