I found a source about the delayed flight too, but it was paywalled and not on the Internet Archive. From what other sources I saw the delay was between 3 and 5 hours.

Not to mention the team from Ecuador spent 9 hours in the air for a trip that was supposed to take 4 hours and the airline never gave a reason for the extra 5 hours of flight time, and then when they finally get to their hotel, which had been doxxed, they were greeted by “fans” blaring music outside their rooms all night long. Great hosts.

I’ll just address one of the many incorrect things you’ve said, in that this assumption that he “defected to Russia” is utter nonsense. He was trying to get to I believe Ecuador and his passport was revoked while in the Moscow airport. He effectively lived in the airport for about a month IIRC (it’s been a long time since I’ve had to debunk this BS) before Putin granted him asylum.

Bottom line, he’s not in Russia by choice. He’s effectively trapped there, unable to travel, until the US State Department overturns the ban.

Michael wasn’t malicious, just so incompetent and oblivious to it that he was a villain. Stanley was grumpy and lazy which is what made him work against the others to thwart them. That also makes him a villain in my book
