Judging people they don’t know by their appearance.

I’ve seen WAY more women tear down other women for their appearance than men. That and the crazy online dating statistics that came out showing women judge people by their appearance way more harshly.

I don’t know if its a cultural problem or not, but people in general judge others by their appearance. Beautiful men have pretty privilege just as much as women.

My gay friends, whenever I would get sassy with them, would tell me, “Sorry sis, I don’t speak Biatchanese”. Always had us hollering.

Pretty sure its to churn out research vessels for science though.

This. There is nothing more immersive in a story set in the past than old-timey measurements. I want my potions in drams, I want my house measured in paces, I want to know how many leagues the city is across. I want cubits and spans for construction and stones, pounds, and smelt for weights.

It makes the world more real, less sterile to have these human-centric measures.
