  • Now that Spain’s Socialist President, Pedro Sánchez, has adopted the rhetoric of decolonization, Mohammed VI should revive the spirit of the Green March to carry out the definitive expulsion of Spanish settlers from Moroccan territory […] Sánchez should do the right thing: live up to his anti-colonial rhetoric and put an end to the Spanish occupation in Africa,” wrote the author, Michael Rubin.

Spain’s “decolonization” rhetoric was actually anti imperialism while acknowledging Spain’s colonial past and at the same time taking aim at the US and Israel. So does Mikey agree that Israel is colonizing? These think tanks do anything but think.

  • Sale of land is more of a founding myth to legitimize it as something transactional or legal. It was under British mandate so effectively a colonial administration and therefore rubber-stamped by Britain.

Evidence also exists that Britain forged land deeds and sold off the land that wasn’t held by anyone locally or communally held. Also it wasn’t to private individuals but to the Jewish National Fund (publicly backed by the Rothschild family) which is similar to the East India Company.

Early Zionist institutions consciously modeled themselves on chartered colonial companies like the British South Africa Company or Hudson Bay company.

Most of the land was “acquired” when the Palestinians were expelled during the Nakba and the newly Israel made a convenient “absentee” law for land ownership.

  • If you don’t use the online services of Ente photos, check out refra (used to be called “gallery” but changed recently).

Clean UI, customizable to a degree, can download AI models to your phone for photo search. Personally it felt faster than Ente and didn’t have buttons to the online service that I kept clicking on by mistake.

  • I’m sorry, him calling the IDF moral?

When asked about the IDF, Alexander stated that they were humane and noble, stating “some of the finest, most humane, most admirable, most noble-serving soldiers that I’ve ever seen” and that “there can never be any doubt that I am also an advocate for Israel”

There’s nothing absolute in saying someone who says the above is a hardcore Zionist.

If you want to dig deeper into the silly little nonprofits he supports, they’re the same bullshit veneer of advocating for a two state solution but not actually listening to Palestinian voices or pushing the needle in Israel in the slightest.

He’s the average liberal Zionist who thinks apartheid is fine and that it can be reformed - this has been the biggest cover for the worst of Zionism.

And if you don’t think of any level of Zionism (an ethno supremacist, colonial, and genocidal ideology) as hardcore, then that’s on you.
