



People deserve privacy because there are many things they want to protect, and it’s their prerogative on how much they’re willing to share.
A lot of the things we hide could be used to hurt us if someone with malicious intent had access to them. Our account logins, our bank accounts, ways to access our houses.

I use Kavita, and it works pretty well for me. Syncs your progress, and supports lots of formats.
It seems to be limited to reading through the web interface, so might not work on an e-reader. Also adding stuff to it requires manually managing the directory it is assigned to, so its a little clunky there as well


Unfortunately some people have sympathy so selective that unless you can tug on very specific heartstrings, they will never give a damn about other people.
