I just wish he had learned something from it. It’s disheartening how pigheaded some people can be.

A former friend of mine at uni became obsessed with a girl who worked there, and started to develop all sorts of creepy behavior towards her (watching her for hours on end, stalking her home down quiet country lanes, found out where she lived, etc). All without ever trying to talk with her or ask her out. He became fixated with her, and of course she noticed his obsession and became uncomfortable and started to stress out.

At one point I told him that his behavior wasn’t cool, and that he should either ask her out and live with the consequences or move on.

He got really angry at me, which didn’t surprise me. But one of the things he said to me was that I didn’t understand women and that’s why I was and would always be single. It was honestly funny because he was also single at that time.

Roll on the years and I’ve been happily married for a couple of decades. And from what I’ve been told through mutual acquaintances he’s still single. And probably still stalking women.

You need two different subscriptions to stream Premier League matches in America. I thought that was bad enough. But the UK situation sounds significantly worse.

It’s a bit more than that. I have basic empathy and have been a user here for about 3 years, but I’m not on the list.

But I don’t understand the rationale for inclusion. I skimmed through the list and recognizes quite a few usernames. Most are just regular, reasonable people. Some are more left-wing firebrands, and a few are right-wing trolls. There’s no rhyme or reason from what I can see.

An easy way? I guess the term ‘easy’ depends on your expertise with networking, firewalls, etc. Sounds like you and I are at about the same level there. In which case the answer is: no, there’s no easy way from what I can tell. I’ve looked into it and it’s a lot more involved than, say, Plex (because Plex does a bunch of the routing and stuff for you, but at a cost).
