I put mint on My laptop at work and it took 3 months for anyone to ask me about it. My laptop is frequently used by 5 other people with zero Linux experience lol, and barely any real PC experience.

I’m on an SNRI and my wife is on an SSRI.

Both have been life changing for both of us in the best way.

Our psych is great and also requested a genetic test that found out I was predisposed to serotonin syndrome from the drug most commonly prescribed for my issue.

So we caught that early and we have been doing great for years now.

It’s not a trick of the brain. That much is obvious when you are able to use the drugs to get back to and maintain a much better baseline, but it’s not drugs alone.

You have to work for it, you cannot just take drugs and think they’re going to fix you. Underlying mental issues from buried trauma are so much more real than most people still think in 2026.
