In the immortal words of George Carlin: “Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?”

That sounds alright. I should probably find something similar and stop feeding the machine…
Yeah, I’m in the process of putting everything on Bandcamp. If I’m not going to be making any money, might as well not be spending the little I do.
Could be worse!
I’ve got 14 million listens over four years on Distrokid, and that just about covered the cost of four years with Distrokid. On their most minimal plan.
Good thing I am also in it for the music.
Some round one, I forget the name. I love it.
Excuse me, but it is “breaking the law”. Rob Halford is a proper Englishman who does not say “breakin’”.

$179’999.99 is ridiculous. Is someone really going to look at that and say “Oh hey, it’s less than 180’000! What a steal!”?
Yes. It is actually a master class in mind-numbing inanity. I imagine Warhol’s Sleep is more engaging.
I watched that fully knowing it was supposed to be terrible. I was unprepared. I can only imagine aneurysms are more pleasant to endure. It’s only an hour-and-a-half or something, but it feels like five. Something to put on Sunday night when you know Monday is coming I suppose.
You can get USB drives for a pittance.

What about rebelling from rebelling?
The 90s are to today as the 60s were to the 90s.
I like to think that was my hope.
Part of me worries that he legitimized then by arguing with them, another part rejoices that he made them look like the dumbfucks they are and hopefully others maybe on the fence took notice.
Congrats!
I was lucky enough to grow up with parents who let me figure things out on my own without trying to indoctrinate me. I had a very brief flirtation with religion in my teens (thanks to a girl) but grew out of it real fast.
I’m glad you managed to get out.
When I was quite a bit younger I used to argue against young Earth creationists online. Eventually I came to mostly the same conclusion: there’s just so much wrong with everything they believe, there’s nowhere to even begin taking it all apart. No amount of reason will cut through their faith.
Same. In the past few years I’ve watched Hereditary and The Ritual. Both were pretty good.
Now I wonder what modern horror movies I’ve got to be up on to understand all the references that will inevitably be in the new Scary Movie.
Yeah, this and a bunch of nearsighted VST developers are the only things keeping me from switching to Linux entirely anymore. Things have definitely gotten better on the Linux side of things, and definitely gotten worse with Windows, so I feel like it’s only a matter of time.
They’re too miserable for the mainstream. They’d also need to be pretty graphic to do the books any justice.
