Thanks for adding it :-) the icon is somewhat cute too :-)
Avid PC gamer, Linux convert, SCP fan.
Love Science Fiction, Cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic settings; Fan of the games of the defunct Arkane Studios. Listening to (Power-, Speed-, Thrash-)Metal, Gothic, Deathrock, EBM, Vaporwave, Lo-Fi; Classic and Musicals are fine too. Can’t stand Hip-Hop.
Owned by two cats, recently divorced, blessed with a personality disorder (AVPD) - pensioned (even the state has the opinion I’m a total wreck lol). This causes me to be unable to keep up personal connections and makes me ghost literally everyone, so if it happens to you, sorry in advance.
Chronically online.
Pro GenAI, but Anti-GenAI-Corpos; this technology should be available to everyone, which would only be fair since we all contributed to it. Datasets and Models should be under the jurisdiction of UNESCO, since they are literally the distilled cultural output of humanity.
Thanks for adding it :-) the icon is somewhat cute too :-)
Dont forget Faugus - it has slowly but surely replaced heroic on my devices.

my cat currently loves hitting the “Sleep”-button on my keyboard every time he jumps on my table -.- at least i can wake it again, but it IS annoying. Haven’t had the time yet to reconfigure that button to instead run a soundfile of me scolding my cat lol.

And this is the way bioinvasor species spread - most of the time they don’t come delivered inside of PSUs but simple crates, which improves their survivability lol

Did the same, even if it’s “just” DDR4 i still feel like RAM nobility nowadays.
It sure does. I for my part always used the official EU tool for creating my CV and applications, which made applying somewhere a pretty fast act - if i looked for the next job, i just uploaded the file with my old CV there and could just add what was new. It’s pretty useful even today i think! https://europass.europa.eu/en/create-europass-cv
My experience was not as abysmal as yours, but it also is much farther in the past - last time i was job hunting was around 2016. That 1% response rate is awful… only way to mentally survive that is by not expecting to hear anything back.
Yeah, the state of things is ugly.
HR departments get flooded with AI generated applications by the truckload, making automating rejections the only viable way to keep up - at least there was a conscious decision here to reply to an applicant, many just ghost them which is just bad form.

The slot that is currently in use is the slower one since it’s only Type: x1. Depending on what you use the slot currently (such as an M.2 drive), you might wanna switch slots so you can take advantage of the speed; the x1 slot is completely adequate for 1gbps ethernet if you don’t need more. Both slots are otherwise functionally the same, but make sure to look up in your mainboard documentation if there’s any limitation if you use both slots or a specific hardware configuration (mine deactivated the second M.2 slot after changing from an 2600x to an 5950x for example)
Naah, would be wasted on him, send it to me instead, i make good use of it!
Me too man, gonna pump up those numbers
Same, it seems we have to up the ante while commenting my man
Nah, it’s worm porn!
Those Companies are the WORST of all, because they do everything to guilttrip you into putting in more hours and sacrificing your personal life and wellbeing so that the “family” thrives. It’s fucking exploitation of people with morals.

I am mainly just not the enemy of the microswitches in my mouse lol

I am GenX, but even i am guilty of using auto-clickers - for things like cookie clicker. i nearly always have some kind of idle game running, currently it’s Swarm Simulator but that doesn’t need an autoclicker lol
I know. They are very tragic figures.
2B and 9S are my spirit animal.

As long as there is no space for air to get trapped between the glass and a reflector, it’s no issue to put it on the inside (although its more effective when on the outside) - those foils that can be put on the window using a little bit of water do a good job. Biggest problem are dark objects when only away a few centimeters from the glass - those will crack the window in no time.
At least where i live, non-permanent modifications that use things like suction cups don’t need approval from a landlord.
They somewhat do - locking users into a platform is a whole lot harder (i’d say unachievable) on linux than on windows.
