Kdeconnect?

It does not look it will work with my cameras… I have the imou bullet something cheap. Only way to view the recordings is with the app I think… Same with tapo ones. Frigate manages to handle them but as you say it comes with a high price

I agree with you completely! My only hope for the short term at least is that the majority of frigate users until now rely on these devices and I hope they will keep it going as long as possible. The alternatives are way too expensive at the moment

have you guys seen this discussion? https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frigate/discussions/18564#discussioncomment-13368028

I saw the hailo. It is a bit pricey but it seems to be the only option. It is cheaper than a good gpu

What is a good m. 2 alternative? I was looking to use my old rx580 but it appears that rocm dropped support for it

Don’t even think about it: proxmox! Then whatever you want to try for VMs and lxc containers!
Yes that’s my point. Develop a better UI, hell just stop reinventing the wheel and copy adobes a little bit and build on that. The name is great and unimportant at the same time
No it doesn’t… Unless you are talking about adoption by first graders. The name is not what prevents adoption.
Why the hell is everyone focused on the damn name? Stick to adobe if you don’t like the name. I need good functionality not a name change.

Lol! I love it! Is there a docker compose file for it?

What have you got against terminal95 and pine?

A utility knife is probably a much better tool!

I don’t remember and I am not near it, but some pcie 1x slots cannot be used because they don’t have a slit cut on the right hand side. But that is not really that big of a problem because one can use a Dremel tool very carefully to cut that slit in the pcie slot plastic.

I want to use it to backup my overleaf instance and mongodb that it uses

So to jump on this question because I am also interested: I can use this to create a backup of database version x and migrate to y and the backup again. Or if migrating goes bad restore x from backup

What is hubzilla?

For server I can vouch for debian or rocky great distributions. For workstation or laptop I use endeavour os. Super stable and just works. I did use Manjaro in the past but every once in awhile it would break and because it is a bit different than arch the solutions would not work straight away.
I do not game that much except for some fallout every once in awhile, but that works too on endeavour
Ah my bad? Sounds cool then!
