  • Actors make movies and thats it.

That’s the thing, if that’s all they did a little opinion difference wouldn’t matter. I also wouldn’t care. That’s not what they do though, they use their money and fame harm others. He went on Glenn Beck to support his 9/12 movement, was outspoken about being anti-lgbt, and donated money to those causes. Similar to JK Rowling, who some say to just ignore, then she also started donating her wealth to bigoted causes as well.

Assuming rich and famous people’s opinions can’t cause actual harm is just ignorance.

  • Part of what got me off my ass to actually switch to Linux is that my Windows partition is on a 120gb drive. I don’t need to claim it, my games are on 2 2tb drives that are Linux based, and 1 1tb shared drive that I mostly use just 1 of the games on, plus a basic “other” drive. I haven’t been back in Windows for months, but I haven’t confirmed all my games work in Linux yet.

Biggest priority is getting all the hotas buttons working for Elite.

  • Nintendo will always care, especially since you can easily currently install emulators on stem deck, and I seriously doubt it would be impossible to install those on steam machine. Now aside from the emulation stuff, having another contender in the console market may always affect each of the companies simply because not everyone can afford all the consoles. Growing up the parents who raised me didn’t buy us a single console, so my first consoles were from the parent who only visited (divorce), in lieu of child support payments, and we generally only had one at a time until we started buying them ourselves.

If you’re on a limited budget, even with kids, you may only choose 1 or two consoles, and your choice may be the most “comprehensive”. While Nintendo makes excellent games for kids, it’s not like the PC market doesn’t have anything for kids. Plus new consoles in a market could convince publishers to expand that way too.

  • I don’t like sugar as much as most seem to, based on a lot of foods. I like some, but much lower totals. Unsweet pancakes with a sweet sauce or topping sounds great.

Even granola is usually too sweet for me. The Muesli I sometimes find at Aldi has 6g per serving, while the granola I get usually has 14g or so, and I much prefer the Muesli. I think 10g or less is ideal, and I can add honey or sugar or some fruit/dried fruit if I need more.
