I’d love to replay it but no matter how many mods I install the story’s always the fucking same. exact same problem I had with DOS2; adding legendary items made the gameplay more fun but ultimately same conclusion… think I need to wait years between modded playthroughs so I can enjoy the story again (or try the roguelike mod)

Depends what you want out of a game. I loved XIII, XV and XVI but for different reasons. if you go into any of them expecting old-school FF gameplay you’ll be disappointed, but if you want decent modern JRPGs with fairly confusing stories you might find something you’ll like.
None of the old-school fans like the new games but the series has always been about trying new things.
also just please don’t do anything rash. I know it’s hard to find happiness in this world right now but believe me, the world is better off with you in it. if you need to rant, bitch or just get anything off your chest with no strings attached my inbox is open.
