The better your printer, the less this matters (in my experience). I just bought a couple spools of matte PLA from Michael’s, the craft store. Legitimately really nice quality filament for about 20% less than a higher end spool. I was shocked 😂
Patiently awaiting the revolution

When you use a good printer, it’s hard to look back at the older ones. They are, as you said, pretty dang jank.

OP bought a used Ender 3 v2. OP had it working just fine, until it needed repair, and stopped doing the thing it’s designed to do - print. Then, OP bought a K1 because the Ender printed fine. It’s not a skill issue, champ, I’m doing just fine. I don’t think you actually read my posts at all. If you did, you having a reading comprehension issue.

Joined! And thank you.

I think you need to touch grass, bud. It’s not a secret club.

My opinion is that a printer should print. Maybe I’m wrong about that.

I don’t think you read my other posts

I could not be more serious about the Centauri Carbon. Bambuu was never an option for me because again, user-hostility, but I haven’t heard anything terrible about Elegoo yet. The fact that they came through with the CANVAS at that price point is bananas to me, honestly.

Mine has been running without breaking anything for just shy of 4 months. What’s going to break? I want to be prepared lolol
I saw that picture you posted too, and that hotend looked like it was about to burst into flame.

Cool for you, but my experience has been a nightmare. I enjoy tinkering, but I’d also like my product to work.

They’re so user-hostile, it’s bonkers.

Anything by Spectrum, but especially their Caribbean blue PLA.

I have an Elegoo Centauri Carbon (1) and it’s an absolute delight. They’re coming out with an add-on for multicolour and it’s bananas cheap.
Stay away from Creality 😡
Excellent choice! I love my Carbon. And they just announced a multi filament attachment coming in August for super cheap. If you need help, you can always ask here - everyone is super nice.
Got an Elegoo Centauri Carbon on sale. I think it was like $500 with delivery? After the bullshit of the Creality K1, the Carbon is like a dream. I could not recommend it more.
Glad you got it! I remembered no one ever responded so I figured I should lol I’m sorry it phones home so much though - that’s bananas. What is it doing??
Hi, I know you left this comment months ago, but I wanted you to know that I’ve replaced my K1 (the topic of the thread) with a Carbon, and I cannot possibly exaggerate just how amazing this printer is. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10, no notes.

Well I could listen to this guy talk all day.
Is there a program somewhere between TinkerCAD and Fusion?
I am watching some videos but… maybe I’m not getting it - how does this fix my hardware problem?
I didn’t think it was any more insulting than what he’s been saying to me, but okay.
