Had this a few weeks ago, my partner had her email hacked, she used the same password on a service that was hacked and email/passwords stollen. They first used a ‘forgot password’ on her phone operator account, reported the SIM as lost/stollen and registered her number to a new SIM. Then they could change the passwords on anything they liked as they had her phone number and got the 2FA calls and SMS. They then went through accounts downloading apps and setting up or re-registering MFA once the passwords were changed.

He just uploaded orcaslicer to the FULU GitHub and invited Bambu to sue him instead… I’m ordering popcorn in bulk for this one 🍿

This really sucks, but now is the time everyone in every state needs to get together in every bit of free time they have, find out where your local politicians live and work and protest them day and night.

No one in any position of power should be able to rest when this is happening to your country. You all need to be a little more ‘French’ and make sure if you feel worried or unsafe your representative shoulders some of that burden.

I don’t think I ever said they were particularly bad… just stating facts here. The opinion that “every major news channel is like this” however is troubling. All news channels have their influences, you just have to identify what they are and adjust critical thinking accordingly.

A news channel created by the state of Qatar and initially staffed by ex BBC presenters who were paid massive amounts to attempt to astroturf over their human rights abuses and corruption.

Edit: forgot to add, Qatar also imposes censorship on journalism and uses Al Jazeera to push their “truth”. Hence the irony.

If all goes well then my parents and extended family are getting upgrades from Win10. I set them all up with decent laptops in the last 5-15 years with SSDs, wifi6/7 and maxed out memory upgrades. If it wasn’t for TPM2 required for Win11 and Win10 EOL things sure would be different.

Ok - thank you, I think I’m going to be learning a lot in the next month. I last used RHEL for work about 5 years ago and it was a really niche application, I didn’t really explore the OS too much, and OS updates were not my responsibility.

Is there a resource where you can see the bugs/fixes left to resolve or an ETA? Not seen anything saying 4-5 days, I just downloaded 22.1 and I’m going to do a final backup this weekend.

I’ll probably just install .1 and have a play then reinstall .2 from fresh and transfer my data.

They can’t keep getting away with this!!!
