I think congress already preemptively authorized military action against venezuela (with the democrats’ support of course) Edit: looking it up technically it was a resolution to tell trump not to use military force in venezuela without prior authorization and they couldn’t be bothered to move it out of committee

I don’t think not providing arms to a genocidal state to enable it to attack its neighbours and avoid retaliation for its genocide counts as the bar for “perfection”
