Thanks! or even do this to all your contacts already imported.
As if I get behind on a lot of getting in touch, this way I can do a “random reset” to feel less guilty about things like.

So I’ve got a lot of contacts in my phone and want to batch import them all at once.
Once I’ve done this I now have to go through each contact to set a specific reach out timeline for each contact.
When batch importing it would be nice to have a feature to set the initial reach out timeline to a random number of days. EG: a box that asks “number of days to reach out” where the default would be 14 from the import date, or a chekc box that could be “each contact is given a random number of days between [min] and [max] value.”
not sure sure if this makes any more sense now
seems neat, I just installed it and imported contacts.
is there a way to randomize the contact dates for the people I’ve imported or set a default that’s longer than 14 days?
A lot of people I stay in touch with over text; I know it is semantics but having a call / txt time-lien that is separate would be nice.
I’m not on telegram anymore otherwise I’d put thoughts there.
again, think this is a cool idea - I had some friends try and start a company based around ‘digital business cards’ that is similar / different from this.

I agree that Cara shouldn’t be collecting personal data; it’s a shame that they only care if China is collecting that personal data.
awesome, thanks for the info!
do you use a stylus? what is the input lag when writing like?
This sounds exactly like my use case as well.
I also like to read papers for shits and giggles so being able to highlight important parts, annotate (either by hand or type) will be great for that and school.
I was reading some on Xournal++, it seems that the nightly build which has some more PDF capabilities is exactly what I’m looking for.
lol okay thanks for the warning
Awesome, thanks for the info. what device have you been using?
Super helpful, thanks!

gotcha, I meant that the artifacting seemed to be the ring disappearing and coming back.
the missing meetings seems to be the most compelling argument to me

seems like artifacting to me… but things are getting harder and hardware to te these days.

Wow - it literally seems like all the things!
thanks!

yeah, this is my hesitancy for using it for gaming. Most of the other stuff it may work.
I’m taking a new look at stoat and maybe donating to them as well.
I thought I read they plan to do E2EE but it doesn’t yet.

Likely I can get everyone on board with Signal for voice.
Zulip would be for updates on other games / scheduling / event planning.
Fohndary would be just for VTT
and the CMS would be for a personal blog.
All separate but if able to run off of one server that would be ideal.

Been looking for ease of use and a few people just are adverse to matrix, hoping Zulip would be a hit easier for them but I don’t know yet
bitwig is great, it is my favorite DAW that I’ve used (Logic and Ableton were previously used by me).
I really enjoy the flexibility and creativity I get with the grid.
A fish doesn’t know its wet
I use RPi5 for this and have it hooked up to steam link.
can stream at 4k with no issue.
If you’re curious
This was also my final nail, especially when they “we investigated ourselves and determined ourselves did nothing wrong” happened.
