I have been hosting my own server for a few months bow. Works amazingly. One thing is their seems to be two versions of the server, make sure the one you install is the actively maintained one.

Yeah, I agree with you on that but its kind of absurd how much faster the mk4s is than the mk4, and that fan is why.

Basically, that big ass fan on the front. Also many parts in the extruder were switched out from petg to pccf. And a higher flow nozzle.

I own a mk4. Bought it in 2023 and still works perfectly. Buy prusa, it works and its kind of like the framework of 3d printers.

As someone who uses arch, its just stability. Arch is great for a hobby, if you want to do work, use fedora. Its so much simpler. That being said, I love arch because of the tinkering, and that lack of tinkering is why I switched off fedora.
