Piggyback to share what I’ve tried:

YouTube plugin for Kodi on rpi 4B - great when it worked, often had breaking bugs for a long time (cat and mouse development), somewhat difficult to keep up to date. Had to manually install releases from github.

“Play on Kodi” add on, which uses ytdlp to download and send the video. Fiddly, could never get it to work seamlessly or smoothly.

YouTube in firefox on RaspberryOS, with keyboard and mouse: firefox was too heavy for the rpi to work consistently.

I eventually bought one of those beelink mini pcs, which has enough power to run Firefox, to watch YouTube. It doesn’t have CEC built in, which is a huge downgrade, but the YouTube experience is great, and it can easily watch videos on other Web sites too.

The difference is, most people go to a restaurant to eat food, so the restaurant can get really good at making food that humans eat.

People use a computer system to do all kinds of things. It is a lot harder to make one choice that will please everybody.

What I’m saying is, you could have told me that you like airpods, or literally anybody else liked them, and without knowing anything about you, i would trust your opinion more than his.

I don’t think he’s lying, i just don’t trust his opinions about technology to be well informed. Basically, i think he is in it for the views. Maybe airpods are good. But i wouldn’t trust his work on the review.

I like that he allegedly doesn’t like Apple, but i wouldn’t trust him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if airpods don’t work right on Android

The difference between 21 vs 20, or 16 and 15, or 6 vs 5 is pretty big. Especially when people have battery saving features kick on at a specific percentage.

Lots of people say this, but i sit and stand on it anyway.

When i was very young, i was practicing my saxophone embouchure on my mouthpiece while i was going to the bathroom. When i flushed, i looked down at the water going down the toilet bowl, and my mouthpiece fell into the toilet and got flushed away.

I can’t go back in time, so ever since that day I’ve taken pains to remove the risk of things falling into the toilet, especially while it’s flushing.

One example is if i have to retrieve something from the cabinet on the wall above the toilet, i make sure the lid is closed first.

You’re right, i do close it to flush a poop. I don’t to flush a pee.

The lid is only for blocking the toilet if you are about to risk dropping something in there accidentally. If you aren’t doing anything complicated in the bathroom or need to sit or stand on the lid for some reason, it’s just in the way.

Otherwise, keep the lid up and the seat down for quick access in diarrhea situations.

It’s got a lot of rough edges on desktop compared to Ubuntu, hence the old joke, Ubuntu is preconfigured Debian
