Definitely see how often your public IP changes. I got a few months into my new fibre connection and I realized that my address hasn’t changed. Two years in I’m hosting a bunch of websites on it and my address hasn’t changed once. Regular residential fibre connection.
Or, you know, depinning the connector and replacing it? Sometimes there’s a weird connector but I have a hard time believing they couldn’t find a replacement if they tried. Some mechanics are just parts replacers and that’s it. My friend had a muffler break off on his Civic and the mechanic gave him a straight faced $1500 quote because they “couldn’t get a repair kit” and wanted to just replace all the parts. New pipe with resonator and new muffler is what they wanted to do. I welded it back on at home in an hour instead.

I think a lot of it is a one time installation for a lot of the core flatpak libraries. So if I were to install a second flatpak, the download sizes would be a lot smaller. But the first package has a really big download.
I installed Mint the other day and for fun I went to the software store. I needed Qbittorrent so I hit download and got a prompt to download 4 gigabytes to install it. The .deb is 8 megabytes. In what world is that an acceptable solution?

On that exploit, yeah I think it’s just the first Xbox One. And given it’s soldering and applying voltages right to the chip, and it’s nowhere near developed to booting a different OS, it might as well be non-existent at this point
You can’t put Linux on an Xbox One Series X. The security system prevents running unsigned code and the bootloader will only boot the Xbox operating system. There has never been an exploit found for the Xbox One Series X or S for unlocking the bootloader.
