I mean I alredy have As my vpn provider has no flatpak

For my Laptop I wanted to stick with the basics and go from there so I didnt really checket wether there where any distros based of off kinoite or silverblue. I want to use only packages I need. I guess aurora bazzite etc would remove the fedora flatpaks out of the box which would have saved maybe 5 minutes vut either way I dont want to install derivatives from derivatives etc. for example mint or cachy(I know these have different bases the point is I want to stick to the source as close as possible)
Now on my pc on the other hand I just installed bazitte because I do play video games on it.

Funnily enough I also used Ubuntu studio when I was distro hopping a lot more a year ago

I use fish via konsole however I still use bash as my login shell for stability reasons.

I think with any alternative to big tech the problem is most people are really unwilling to change their habits and make short term compromises. A lot of people know on a surface level that big tech is stealing their data etc. But actually changing their habits goes to far.
Another issue is that its more or less a systemic issue.
To many people aren’t even awear of what FOSS even is. The state of Foss and is a bit complicated where you do have organizations and activists advocating for it but also gigantic corporations that use Foss technology and exploit the free labor that goes into it.
There definitely needs to be more activism for FOSS technology and alternatives to big tech. And those alternatives should be open to everyone like Linux is. Of course there are always multiple reasons why something isn’t used but I do think it is important to look at a bigger perspective than individual consumer/ in this case users

I love what postmarket os is doing. I hope it will be daily drivable in a few years.

Especially since, if you don’t update your system regularly enough it might break and you will have problems with upgrading.
And a whole lot of other issues that can happen on arch btw now that i think about it

the age of linux is cumming upon os.
ok this is really bad , ill see myself out…

The bible that has been and is still being used to persecute queer people. And has been used as a justification for colonizing and committing countless genocides?

well shit i did not notice that since I use Ublock origin as an adblock

there is also a firefox extension
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/imginn/
Imginn by gxvwb who also has other extensions that use other front ends for other social media.
like redlib or proxitok etc

As a temparary solution there is a frontend called imginn where you can see the stories and posts whithout an account. now no idea how trustworthy that front end is but ive been using for a while
