I apologize, but have you actually read the document by the special rapporteur? One of the primary concerns highlighted was about hate speech.
You don’t even make money with this?
Please keep this discussion civil. And yes, I don’t get paid for this type of work.
Did you check if the Samsung device is officially supported by LineageOS?
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/
Also, the accurate term is ”Android distribution” the term “Custom ROM” is outdated and technically inaccurate.
Regarding GrapheneOS I would advice you to read the information on the webpage of the installer on the official GOS website, it’s very easy and tells you everything you need to know.
Mailbox; it’s also recommended by PrivacyGuides. Privacy Policy.
I would say that isn’t going to happen, if we don’t stop fighting.
I live in the European Union.

Hi, I checked your profile and it has no history aside this post, I most agree with the other people that seems a bit sketchy, would you mind giving some background info?

My recommendations would be: use normal Firefox if that works for you, install uBlock Origin, enable Strict Tracking Protection in the settings, disable all the telemetry, enable the “AI kill switch” if you do not want any AI (including on-device translations) in your browser.
Very on-topic: https://loops.video/v/gGFPxjD8Kz
As far as I remember, TrackerControl actually says that if it recognizes the app as a browser, the listed network connections are most likely from websites you visit.

Source? Also, some spaces do not allow politics; could that have been the reason?
Technically Mullvad didn’t fund them, it was there CEO who did it partially with money he got from working at Mullvad.
Very reasonable stance.

Molly is no longer compatible with recent Signal updates, and the developers have stopped updating and monitoring Molly for some time now.
Please don’t spread misinformation, you can easily verify that this is not the case:

There’s no guarantee it’s more private, more secure
The code is opensource. We can independently audit it. There even exists forks, like Molly.
won’t be sold again.
Unlikely imo.

ActivityPub was one of the first and is a W3C (The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops standards and guidelines to help everyone build and enjoy a web based on the principles of accessibility, internationalization, privacy and security) recommendation: https://www.w3.org/TR/activitypub/

Literally what Bluesky did:

He left WhatsApp after they started enshitifying it. Signal is what WhatsApp was supposed to be: a private messenger.
Hey there, I appreciate your detailed response!
Indeed, that is why I specifically stated: “(…) but was unable to independently verify R. Zitelmann’s claims.” As every other source I could find just repeated statements by him, so I though taking a guest article that is directly by him is the most accurate we can currently find. If there is a press release by the police, or similar I would like to see it.
I also represent the point of view that it was unjustified since it’s clearly satire. I actually was surprised, that it wasn’t about a different law I had in mind. But the comparison Nate has made is still misleading. I now think that including it wasn’t worth it, and that I should’ve rather addressed the Stasi report system comparison Nate has made.
Let me make a comparison: If someone break somebody’s leg, and a third party then makes a news coverage where they claim that someone has killed somebody. Would you still say that this is strongly worded? I think it’s a completely false representation of what has happened.
