The better question is, do you trust meta at all? I’m sure they have a way to read everyone’s chats and would gladly hand over yours to the government if they want it.

I assume the US military has an invasion plan on the books for about every country on the face of the earth. They gotta spend all the trillions of dollars of black money on something.

Using buzzwords to describe doing something people have been doing for decades or centuries is all the newer big tech companies seem to do. They’re just fancy new middlemen with a shiny interface for us to use.

Don’t point out how all their bullshit requires middlemen and accounts holding their currency to make it work. That makes it looks silly. Almost like it’s just more complicated harder to use money that people can more easily steal from you.

Unfortunately Russia’s strategy of mining the front so heavily it won’t be safe for a hundred years is proving pretty effect at slowing the Ukrainian advance. I hope the rest of the world never lets up on the sanctions. Russia is a fucked backwater that loves war crimes. They need to be punished.

Covid made this really hard and somewhat political. A lot of businesses stopped taking cash. Some still don’t take cash. Covid was never spread much in surfaces but I wasn’t trying to argue and look like some whack job antivax person.
