According to Wikipedia, the medium equatorial radius of the sun is ~520 times that of the moon while the sun is ~390 times further from earth than the moon (medium distance).
So not only is this conspiracy theorist crap, it is also not even getting the most easily researchable facts correct.
My experience is 50/50. Half the fandom are smart enough to see the lore is mostly satire meant to be silly exaggeration, the other half has a power fantasy from different, but overlapping backgrounds (misogynist, racist, homophobic, etc).
Okay weird. The BBC article reads totally different and there’s a lot of statements put into a new context.

I’ve seen him post worse, but some was deleted, too. Also, the kinda subtility and the sheer amount add to the overall impression of a person who has internalized a certain basic misogynie that may not be totally out of the norm for society, but notable.
There is a german comedian, Mario Barth, who fills football stadiums with his shows. His humor though is almost exclusively based on gender stereotypes and expressed not in a way of “look, these stereotypes, weird stuff isn’t it?” but “look, this is funny because men are like this and women are like that, haha, aren’t men just better?”
From how I perceive OP he fits perfectly into that crowd.

Despite the blatant misogyny, it’s even wrong on the dates. Rogers goes back to 1949 to live with Carter, Carter dies in 2016 and that old man Rogers picture is from 2023. So he is 74 years older than when he left and spent 67 years with Carter.
Also, Rogers was born in 1918, got frozen in 1945 (age 27), thawed in 2011 and returned to 1949 from 2023. So when we see him again after living his full life, he has lived for 113 years. For that age, he looks pretty fresh I’d say.
