3 years into HRT starting at 33yo over here. No, you’re ahead of the curve girl. You look more like a woman than you give yourself credit for and time will only make that more true.
🏳️⚧️ I am whole. You cannot redefine who I am.

Yeah that comment was about you specifically. Sorry you had to find out that way

I get wanting to call the guy a hypocrite if he were actually gay, but he’s not? This is the same really lame take I see about transphobes and how they’re all secretly trans. It just insinuates being trans is an insult and is a cheap “gotcha” for hypocrisy.
I am trying to understand how yours is any different. You put it right there with child rapist. I guess color me confused.

I get the hate and wanting to insult the guy but why does he have to be secretly gay? Is being gay an insult?

I have sleep apnea and I don’t snore, but ultimately it’s your body and health. I hope you’re able to get restful sleep!

This reads like undiagnosed sleep apnea to me. You should really talk to your doctor about getting a sleep study done. You don’t need to be overweight or anything to be affected by sleep apnea and it can get worse as one gets older. I hope it’s nothing too serious/just some fatigue!

Regardless what that article says, no we aren’t.

Maybe she can use the ladder she pulled up behind her to travel.
That can be rough, and I’ve seen a lot of trans folks express similar doubts. 🫂
First: HRT is completely reversible in the short term (some effects are permanent, but not usually until months in and even then they need time to grow/change). Remind yourself you can stop if you find it isn’t helping you. Stopping if your feelings turn out to be true here is simply just that… stopping. You’ll have lots of opportunities to figure out if you like the changes or not.
Second: I’ve had someone tell me, “if you do it when you’re alone, you’re not doing it for attention”. That was in response to similar feelings you’re expressing. I ride that question out every time I ask myself if I was right to transition. I’ve consistently found that I both do this while I’m alone and that I feel less and less unsure as time has gone on.
Try reminding yourself of that. Feeling doubt is feeling doubt, but does that doubt actually make you want to stop? Do you do it when you’re alone? Is it for you or someone else?
We’ve spent our lives hiding our real selves. It can feel really scary to finally be this vulnerable and it can be very appealing to hide again. I’m happy you’re giving yourself a chance.

For those yelling about Unions being better than what this guy did:
Unions were always the compromise. We’ve watched as corporations fight tooth and nail against unions, even closing locations and laying people off to quash them. Our union protections in the US are pathetically weak, especially with the current regime.
Workers used to get beaten and threatened when they tried to advocate for better conditions. Eventually workers would start burning down their workplaces like this guy. In extreme cases they would kill the factory owner or foreman. If the conditions are unbearable and voices aren’t being heard, people will get desperate and do unthinkable things.
For their sake, let’s hope the business and corporate types remember this before the bread or circuses run out.
Most AI can write Shakespeare if your standards are low enough.

I… what even is this? Is it meant to be sarcasm? I feel like I was concussed and can’t understand if this is a serious comment or a joke. If I take it too seriously you seem like an asshole. If I take it as a joke it’s not really that funny and feels mean-spirited.

Super normal! Transition is a lot like speed running puberty. Cis women have had their childhood and teen years to try different styles of femininity and pick what feels right for them. Many of them don’t wear nail polish or makeup. You don’t have to have nail polish if you don’t enjoy it, and it doesn’t make you any less femme because of it.
Heck, I still have some leftover baby-trans clothes that I’d be really uncomfortable wearing now. I thought they were what I needed to wear to be femme enough when my dysphoria was still raw during early transition.

Thank you for the reminder! And also to remember to still check whatever bits you have too. They can still have issues you can find with a regular self-exam.

Snoop is nothing but problematic. He consistently chases money and punches down, including against his own community. At this point he’s a fossil from the days of DMX rapping about how he’s not gay like it was masterful lyric work. I kinda miss when the only things we heard or cared about was that he liked weed.
Jesus Christ, I mean take the upvote, but goddamn.
finally, some good fucking food
