There are several different kinds of irony.
“Black fly in your Chardonnay” is only ironic if after a long day of gassing your house with Raid, tacking up screens, installing fly paper, putting all your trash out and deep cleaning every inch of the house to rid yourself of an infestation of black flies, you finally sat down with a cold glass of white wine to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
That is my very favorite verse.
The irony is the lack of irony.
